Do you have a bunch of old 8mm or Super 8 film reels laying around and you’re just not sure what to do with them? Maybe your mom and dad have some film from the family vacations or birthdays when you were a kid. You’d like to see them again, but your projector is broken and they’re just sitting there taking up space, getting dusty, and deteriorating as time passes. But you don’t want to get rid of them, ’cause it’s part of your family history? I have the solution. Bring them into the digital age!

After numerous requests, I have added 8mm and Super 8 film conversion to our list of services. I can put the film on DVD or in computer files. They will be a whole lot easier to view than setting up the screen and trying to thread the film into your projector only to find that the bulb doesn’t work any more. And they will last for years to come.

Check out the web page and the prices page for more info. I provide a quality conversion for a reasonable price. So, as my web site says…

Bring Your Past Into Your Future and get that film converted to digital!

A Review From One of My First Customers

Dear Robert,

I am very pleased with the digital transfer that you did for me of my parents’ old 8mm film reels.

I had bought some equipment a while back to try to transfer it myself, but I wasn’t satisfied with my result. My effort yielded an uneven and often blurry or overexposed image. Not so with your transfer. You must have gone to meticulous lengths or have much better equipment than I did. My parents’ footage was steady, clear, and crisp.

I also had a VHS copy of some other 8mm footage that someone had transferred back in the 80s. I gave the original source 8mm reels to you and you created a much better transferred image than that other guy years before.

My parents recently had a house fire that consumed everything except for what they carried out. It was especially difficult for my mom to adjust losing everything. They initially thought that their old 8mm footage was left in their attic and thus, lost forever. However I had it safely at my house.

They haven’t seen this 1969 honeymoon-vacation footage of themselves in decades. I am going to give them the DVD copies of everything that you carefully prepared as an anniversary gift this coming February. I’m excited to see them relive those moments.

Thank you very much for your excellent work.

Jeremy Smith
